The contemporary world is characterized by the increasing domination of sciences and technologies to the point that these latter tend to impose themselves as legitimizing bodies of all human activities and enterprises. Education does not escape this dynamic. Upstream it contributes to their emergence and their spread. Downstream it becomes itself an object of their application, what constrains it to change. But this change does not have to be done at all costs, beyond the interest it entails. Thus the entry of education into the digital or technological era must be accompanied by an ethics of limitation, responsibility and precaution
