Abstract

The emergency plans developed in mid-March 2020, in response to COVID-19, in the logic of pedagogical continuity focused on training hybridity are still current. Building on this context, we examine the pedagogical innovations used in the digital age to rethink current teaching practices at IUA. The objective is to analyze the uses logic of the WhatsApp application exploited in terms of opportunities and for pedagogical consistency. The guidelines refer to the usefulness of using digital tools in training at IUA in the context of COVID-19. The methodology used is qualitative and favours, at the same time, a descriptive interpretive approach and ethnography. The data collected is subject to a content analysis. The results obtained are organized around the organization of the training, the conduct of teaching-learning activities and the conduct of evaluations. They suggest that the Covid-19 pandemic has forced a transformation of engineering models and practices, as well as educational design, to ensure educational continuity in the context of a health crisis marked by widespread containment
